Knit Night!!
Since our opening in June, we are pleased
that so many of our customers enjoy dropping by with
their projects to knit with us. A community of knitters
is growing at Rare Purls and it is so rewarding to see
friendships spring up among our patrons. Our Knit Night
on Fridays is the highlight of our week. We hope that
you, too, will join us sometime soon.

Some Light on the Subject at Hand
Bill, the father figure at Rare Purls,
came up with a bright idea. We have changed all of our
overhead lighting from standard incandescent to the new,
energy saving florescent bulbs, upping the amount of
light in the shop by 40%. Our yarns look more dazzling
than ever in the enhanced lighting. Subtle shadings in
hand dyes visually pop and beads and metallics sparkle.
We have also placed floor lamps around the shop to aid
our customers with their knitting.
